Eli Young Band and the Texas Rangers announced the details of a special promotion where one lucky Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex high school will receive a free acoustic show by EYB.
The promotion is taking place in conjunction with the second annual Capital One Bank Presents Eli Young Band’s House Party, which will take place on Saturday, November 8 at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
Beginning today, high school students and supporters can go to EYBHouseParty.com/Arlington and vote for their high school. The school which receives the most votes will receive a free acoustic show by Eli Young Band to be performed at the winning school on Friday, November 7. All high schools within a 50-mile range of Globe Life Park in Arlington are eligible to participate. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on Sunday, November 2, and the winning high school will be announced the following day. A full list of contest rules can be found here.
Individuals can also receive a $5.00 discount on each Capital One Bank Presents Eli Young Band’s House Party ticket by using the promo code HIGHSCHOOL here. Each ticket sold using the coupon code HIGHSCHOOL will also contribute $5.00 to the winning high school.
The November 8 House Party in Arlington will feature American Music Award nominee and ACM Award winning Eli Young Band as the headliner. The event will also feature 7 times platinum, Billboard chart topping country superstar Gary Allan, two-time Grammy nominee and country hit-maker Pat Green, Texas country music favorite Cody Johnson and the up-and-coming Texas/Oklahoma female duo Maddie & Tae.
Last night, Republic Nashville artist Eli Young Band took to the field during halftime for the Houston Texans first ever lights out halftime show. The band performed three of their most popular hits including the #1 smash “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” “Dust” and the ACM Song Of The Year winner “Crazy Girl.”
The group was sporting Texans jerseys along with Breast Cancer awareness ribbons and wrist bands in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Fittingly, during the band’s smash #1 hit song “Crazy Girl” a video montage of breast cancer survivors flashed across the jumbro trons, paying homage to the many brave women who have battled and won the fight against Breast Cancer.
In a season-long partnership with the Houston Texans, EYB has filmed a video for their rendition of “Deep in the Heart of Texas,” which plays just before kickoff at every Texans home game this season.
The Eli Young Band has three No. 1 hits, two Grammy nominations and an Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year for their hit “Crazy Girl”, and are currently nominated for the 3rd consecutive year for the Country Music Association Group of the Year.
